@SuitableAlias Thought Barkey Bump Martone Michkov all had a few great shifts. 94 had some sick zone entries. Bump's power/strength is so slept on..shrugged off multiple guys tonight. Coots had some monster shifts. Zegras had a few of his best in awhile. Couldn't say when tho lol.

He & Martone are the only forwards who are willing to hold onto the puck and make a pass from the perimeter into the middle of the ice. Michkov had a shift in the third where he set up 3 grade As on his own, and in the first he set up Couturier and he failed to finish.

Only in Philadelphia could they find a way to spin this game on Michkov

@SuitableAlias We needed to have an honest conversation about TK before that contract was signed.

TK and Coots decline needs to be offset by Martone and Michkov and growth from the rest of the kids. They need ice time and the vets need to play down the lineup. That needs to be a priority next season.

I don't even feel the need to have an honest conversation about Konecny because this is all just shit I told you was coming. No, he's not a special playoff performer. No, the team who has exclusively drafted elite talent on the wings will never be "looking for a TK later"
