Absolutely incorrect. ঘোষণাপত্র is a Declaration. Not a manifesto. ইস্তাহার has been used as a translation of manifesto from even before the TMC came into power. If you’re to shun all Arabic-Persian derived words in Bangla, you won’t be able to properly finish a sentence.

Because he has zero knowledge of his own mother tongue. Pitiable!

You may throw all the data in ther faces but they would always double down on their stupidity. Apparently, a direct reference to two established dictionaries is not good enough. All the while, this PhD scholar can't form a complete sentence in Bangla ( loan words included)

@SukriyoC Pick up a book. You are trying to assert that Bengalis had no word for weather/climate before Farsi. Whereas we have "ছয় রাগ, ছয় ঋতু, ছত্রিশ রাগিণী" Dont cover up with "Sarcasm" excuse. What is "ঋতু" now?

@SukriyoC @atls_shrug1 1. জমি is a tadbhaba word from Prakrit 2. আয়না=দর্পণ 3. কাগজ is an old Sogdian word directly imported into Sanskrit as कागदम् Every word you mentioned as replacement in Sanskrit

@vrtrahan_ Weather-এর বাংলা শব্দ সেই stalwart-রা বের করতে পারেন নি, এই যা। যত্তসব revisionist আকাটের দল।

@SukriyoC Hardly the case. The use of ঘোষণা পত্র is also quite old as well. As to removing FAT words from Bengali to finish a sentence, our stalwarts of Bengali renaissance already did the hard work so please sell that snake oil somewhere else.
