Building in public day 22: - Purchased domain✅ - UI Design completed for mobile users ✅ - Next up, deploying backend and testing with front end. Then deploying front end.

Building in public day 21: - Integrated stripe sandbox to collect and cancel test subscriptions through front end. - Adding example images to landing page so users can try product without uploading their own photo - Next, making sure every page is mobile friendly

Building in public day 17: - Been getting stuck with trying to perfect the UI - I was originally going to launch without sign in or sign up pages and no payment but I decided to finish those before launch - I can now sign up, save to database, however stripe needs integration

Building in public day 12: - One day away from launch. - Finished polishing and setting up authorization on sign in and sign up pages. - Finished the backend api.

Building in public day 11: - Landing and upload page complete - I will now connect it with database to finalize api request authentication. - Planning on launching without sign in or sign up. Will see if I can do user authentication tomorrow. - 2 days away from launch.

Building in public day 10: - Made an executive decision to use an open source AI model. Instead of hosting a custom one. - Started working on Web UI - Landing page needs some style edits, upload page needs prompt and options added.

Building in public day 9(v2): - Really contemplating on running an open source ai model for the image generation - Custom model on a gpu is very costly unless you are ok with cold boot time of 1 minute - Can get around it if i warm up gpu before a user sends request but idk???

I'm also thinking, When do i warm it up? Everytime someone goes on the app or website? When they upload a picture? If anyone has any recommendations it would be cool. Feeling let down right now because i cant get the time down for cold start.

Building in public day 9: - Past few days i have been trying many things to make my cold start time less and less - Cold start and generation of interior room design currently takes 1:45 - When warm it takes 20 seconds. - Do i warm up the gpu before someone sends a request?

@starter_story Finding time everyday is the most important part. Repetition is the key to success!

Get out of your house. And build. It won't happen all at once. But 2 hours a day. Hell, 30 minutes a day. Doesn't matter. Just build something for yourself. Solve a small problem in your life. You won't regret it. In 1 year your life could be different. Or it will be exactly the same. It's up to you. Get out and build.

Since launching my mobile app on July 12: – 25 total downloads – $40 lifetime sales – dozens of "new" features – technically $0 MRR gotta be honest guys... I'm floundering here. posting on TT has yielded near 0 results. i'm already getting distracted by shiny new ideas i want to build. and doing this with a newborn is tough (at best). feels like i'm a million steps behind everyone. i'm gonna keep trying at this thing, but damn man, this ain't easy!
