@Inferbro I spent a good few hours of my life debugging something in Lua because I forgot about its 1-indexed arrays... Fun thing about Lua specifically is that reading and writing array[0] is a valid operation and nothing will appear wrong until you start getting weird off-by-1 issues.

Genuine question: Is there anyone out there that likes when programming languages choose to index arrays from 1 instead of 0? Like genuinely, and can you explain why?

I think one of the worst parts about anime becoming mainstream is the clear difference in effort for the translations. Anime opening songs translated by fans would always have the lyrics up in both JP and EN, meanwhile Netflix can only bother to put up "Woman singing in Japanese"
