New: @SalimVASenate's assault weapons ban bill includes a pretty big change compared to previous versions. It would make it illegal to sell all assault weapons in Virginia. Previous versions banned the sale of only new assault weapons, manufactured after a certain date.

I just contacted my Senators and Representative urging them to hold ICE accountable. I asked my Senators to vote NO on the DHS funding bill and to call for the abolition of ICE.

Times like these are why I’m a Democrat who is strongly pro-second amendment. I think more Americans should buy guns. It is our constitutional right.

This, along with other big restrictions on the 2nd amendment, are such ridiculously bad ideas that threaten the liberty of Virginians. At a time like this, we need to support all constitutional liberties.
Reasonable background checks are a good thing, but I’m not for this.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, our electric bills are too dang high! APCo customer bills have increased by 158% since 2007, more than 3X the rate of inflation. To fight against rising utility costs, our bipartisan effort will ensure fairness and affordability for all Virginians in the APCo service region.

She’s going to be a strong, steady leader for the Commonwealth and serve Virginia well. I’m so proud of our Commonwealth and so excited for this new chapter in our history.
