We need competent leadership in Albany that understands how to actually deliver a budget on time & manage taxpayer dollars I’ve spent decades building budgets as a financial analyst & small business owner. I’m running to bring real-world experience & transparency back to Albany

How late is New York State’s budget? It was supposed to be passed by April 1. Now leadership in the State Legislature is saying to expect a budget sometime after Memorial Day. New York’s budget process is completely broken.

These meetings are a great opportunity to learn more & voice concerns about public safety & quality-of-life issues in the community. Naturally, I stopped by one of my favorite spots, Curry Roti Box, for some curry chicken chana with potatoes & roti to clean the plate.

Last night at the @NYPD106Pct Community Council Meeting, four officers were recognized for their investigative work & arrest of perpetrators involved in recent food delivery robberies. CPT Deras updated attendees on current trends & methods being used to address these incidents

If elected, I will oppose any support from Albany that facilitates such an effort to balance the city’s books by shortchanging pension obligations. I will use my decades of experience in financial administration and compliance to bring real fiscal discipline to the budget process

The mayor has introduced a city budget that relies heavily on delaying payments to the city’s pension funds. This short term budget balancing trick will increase long-term debt & put at risk the pensions of the very people who dedicated their lives to keep it functioning.

Great afternoon at Callie’s, on Beach 129th petitioning and speaking with residents about the issues that matter most to our community. It was great talking with folks about their concerns and discuss ways to improve our neighborhoods.

First responders have demanding jobs, and people who interfere with them only make those jobs harder. That’s why I support establishing a 15-foot buffer zone that would penalize people who interfere with or disrupt first responders while they are doing their jobs.

As your next Assemblyman, I’ll use my decades of experience to bring common sense back to Albany and fight for budgets that put taxpayers first.

Do we have a state budget? The Governor says we do. The Assembly Speaker says we don’t As a small business owner & financial analyst, I can tell you this is no way to craft a budget. New Yorkers deserve transparency, accountability, & fiscal responsibility from their state govt

I know just how dangerous and demanding police work can be, and I know our city and state can do more to support officers. As your next Assemblyman, I’ll work with colleagues on both sides of the aisle to make our communities safer and protect those who protect us.

As the son of an NYPD officer and the brother of a Secret Service Agent, an NYPD Officer, and a NY/NJ Port Authority PD Inspector, law enforcement isn’t just important to me, it’s personal.

Insurance fraud in NY increases auto insurance premiums by as much as $300 annually per driver, contributing to average yearly rates exceeding $4000. As your Assemblyman, I work with my colleagues to take on fraud and reform insurance to lower costs for all drivers.

New York drivers pay some of the highest car insurance rates in the nation, largely due to fraud, excessive litigation, and organized fraud rings that drive up costs. These schemes often involve staged car accidents, fake “slip-and-fall” incidents, and fraudulent medical billing

This budget fails to make New York State more affordable, safer, and not enough toward our infrastructure.
