@ChuckNaso I sat in the literal last row of the stadium. Would it be easier to see the game at home on a tv? Yes. Was it worth paying hundreds of dollars to barely see in an insane environment w thousands of passionate fans? Absolutely and would again

@BobZuppke Seems like Bielema is out there playing chess. Outsiders see ND and Ohio State poaching our coaches making us look good, when in reality he’s shedding weak links. Saves departing coaches face and lets Illinois bring in upgrades

@Jonathan_A_Hand @SteveKSnider They’ve been competing for big ten title and in the tourney every year for at least the last 5 years. Some down years under groce yes, but really not an excuse for fans to lose interest, they’ve been very good for a while
English

@SteveKSnider Illinois has been and eventually will get back to that level. The issue is the program went dormant for a decade so the product was sub par and the student section followed….its still a solid venue imo and the crowd is above average for home games. If they make a final 4

@liverpxxl9 @FreddyQuinne The chocolate bar is a great analogy, things can be hard to give up because you enjoy them. That doesn’t mean it’s an addiction. If it’s so easy why doesn’t everyone eat healthy and not have any sugar, sweets, fast food? Temptation isn’t addiction
English

@FreddyQuinne It doesn’t. Same way a chocolate bar every week doesn’t make you a chocolate addict.

@StockChartsUP @WindyCityWxMan What would be most interesting is a heat map of season ticket holders home addresses. Doubtful could get data on all game attendees (secondary market) but season ticket holder data would exist, somewhere. .
English

I know many season ticket holders and ALL of them live in the northern burbs and also northwest burbs… and a couple in Norwood / Edison park area… since Arlington first begun in talks they’ve all been on board that’s the right place to be. for the season ticket holders that live downtown they can take an express train to Arlington on game days…. It just makes sense … Gary makes NO sense at all … no many south siders are season ticket holders sorry

So the #Chicago #Bears moving to Indiana is half the distance of moving to Arlington Heights from Soldier Field
13 miles to Wolf Lake
26 miles to Arlington Park grounds
Indiana probably half the tax burden on the team too.

The most frustrating thing about being a Chicagoan these days is the @jewelosco app. My god.
English

🚨 Holy smokes. Fox just EMBARRASSED the governor of Illinois.
"Why does Chicago have the highest murder rate of big cities?"
GOV. PRITZKER: We're not in the top 30...it's going down...look at the violent crime...
"Here's a map...17.47 per 100K. Chicago is number one over Philadelphia, Houston, Dallas, San Antonio, Phoenix, Los Angeles, New York and San Diego."
PRITZKER: ...look. You can pull statistics up...you gotta hear this.

@SadILLfan23 @DeanMitts @JWerner247 Do u know if there is a start time announced? I have a “coverage will begin shortly screen”
English

@ClayTravis This is awesome, are there versions of other schools? Who made this?

The @McDonalds at @ohare forced ppl to form two lines to separate kiosks rather than one, which I had started due to being far more efficient for everyone. Why Americans can’t comprehend queuing theory is beyond me

@SleeveNashTTM Loyola was the absolute worst. Especially being in Chicagoland where Loyola was the local Cinderella story that everyone was getting behind. Would have loved to root for them but they were villains for us Illini fans
