We are currently working on a project to dig a well in one of our masjids and convert it to a pumping system, so water can be accessed more easily instead of manual fetching.

🚨 POLICE GANG IN UNIFORM ROBBED ME AT GUNPOINT AND THE SYSTEM IS DOING NOTHING 🚨
On Wednesday, April 22, 2026, at exactly 5:55 am, I was intercepted at Ajao Junction on my way to work.
I stopped to pick up a colleague, Comrade Chinedu. That’s when they struck.
A korope bus with no registration number double‑crossed me. They forced my colleague out. Took my car keys. Pushed me to the back seat.
Three men in full police uniform. Armed. One wore a mask.
They drove off, went under the NAHCO bridge, headed toward Mile 2. At Cele Express, they stopped before the bridge and forced me at gunpoint to transfer ₦200,000 into a First Bank account.
Time of transfer: 6:29 am.
Once they confirmed the alert, they jumped out, ran back to their korope, and sped toward Mile 2.
I have the transaction receipt. I have a picture of their leader (attached below).
I reported everything to the police station. Showed them the photo. Gave them the details.
Nothing. No progress. No arrest. No justice.
Uniformed officers, armed, acting as a criminal gang. And the system is looking away.
How many more Nigerians must be robbed, traumatised, or killed before we take this seriously?
This is not policing. This is organised crime in uniform.
I am sharing this again. I will not be silent.

Let me explain what’s happening. In late March 2026, Anthropic publicly hinted that one of their internal frontier models, called Claude Mythos, showed advanced offensive cybersecurity capabilities, including autonomous vulnerability discovery and exploit generation. Because of this, they stated that rollout would be tightly controlled under staged access and safety evaluations. Over the past two weeks, we’ve seen a significant increase in platform hacks, from Web3 platforms to government infrastructure to legacy platforms. And here’s the reason: Hacks have been happening before, they’re not new, and automation and repeated attacks are not new either. But you know what’s new? Intelligent automation. Automation that doesn’t just work with a checklist and repeated patterns, but can actually create a sandbox and try multiple attack strategies in an isolated environment repeatedly, then identify where the vulnerability is and use all the knowledge on the internet to figure out how to exploit it. Automated attacks used to follow a blueprint, but now it’s different. There’s no fixed blueprint. You can infuse AI into a hacking process multiple times and get different results. And these tools have a mind of their own. Over the next few months, we will be seeing a lot of news like this. It doesn’t mean these platforms are not safe, it just means AI is moving faster than anyone can adapt, and now we all have to 10x our processes. We live in a new world. On vercel’s issue? They’ve announced that only a few users were affected and released a process to support all users and better increase their hosted platforms.

10 new BVN rules you must know before May 1st
The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has outlined 10 key changes to the Bank Verification Number (BVN) system, which will take effect from May 1, as part of renewed efforts to curb fraud and strengthen digital banking processes.
The 10 key changes include:
1. Mobile banking apps will be restricted to one device at a time.
2. Logging in on a new device will automatically log out the previous device.
3. Switching devices will require additional verification before access is granted.
4. Suspicious BVNs will be placed on a 24-hour watchlist.
5. Banks may temporarily restrict or freeze accounts linked to flagged BVNs.
6. Customers can only change their BVN-linked phone number once.
7. The rule targets SIM-swap fraud and unauthorised access.
8. Only individuals aged 18 and above can enrol for a BVN.
9. Minors must operate accounts under a guardian.
10. Transactions on newly activated devices will be capped at ₦20,000 within the first 24 hours.
The CBN emphasised that the new rules are designed to enhance security and protect customers from rising digital fraud risks.
