I booked a cab on rent for 6 hrs in mumbai. It got extended by 30mins and uber driver went away with my luggage without speaking with me. And he is casual with this. Is this allowed? Now saying will return in 2-3 hrs. @Uber_India @MumbaiPolice @Uber_Support

Came super charged after tour to @OlaElectric future factory & @bhash sankalp event. My 1st startup was hardware tech and hence i deeply appreciate what he has built & scaled in just 3+ years.

@bhash @bhash this is super inspiring moment for every Indian founder. Building and scaling ola electric in just 7 years & to take it public is true example of innovation and sheer execution.

The importance of today, this moment is finally sinking in. It felt like a process till yesterday - where we did our work and put in our time and made India one of the largest EV 2W markets. Our hard work has paid off and the world recognises that. But today it feels like an important duty, a responsibility to double down on our aspirations and to build the country of our dreams. To be dedicated and faithful custodians of public money and faith. Our destination is still far ahead and we didn’t come this far, to just come this far. Jai Hind! 🇮🇳🙏

I just heard this story of a 40-year-old woman mis-sold by a bank. She visited her bank branch and asked to invest in mutual funds, but the manager kept pushing her to invest in an insurance product. She went back and did her homework, and this time she insisted on index mutual funds, but the manager was rude and said she couldn't invest in them through the bank. After much back and forth, the manager got her to invest in a regular plan of index funds. Though the commissions are not as high as an insurance product, the bank still earns a trail commission for a lifetime, even though they never wanted her to buy it. Even as direct mutual fund platforms like @CoinByZerodha have become popular, unwitting investors are still pushed to invest in high-commission insurance products. For example, the commissions on some insurance products can be 50%+ of the first-year premium and then fall to 2%+. The post-commission returns for the investors will be worse than a government bond or fixed deposit. Insurance should ideally be used only for insurance (health and term). By the way, we started Coin in 2017 after SEBI enabled brokers to sell direct MF through the exchange. Today, the AUM is Rs 60,000 crs+ and has helped investors save hundreds of crores in commissions. This is more than 40% of the total AUM of all the fintech direct MF platforms and ~15% of the total retail direct AUM. The Indian MF industry hit an AUM of 50 lakh crores recently, of which roughly Rs 12–13 lakh crores is from retail investors, and Rs 3–4 lakh crores of this is retail direct AUM.

At the media launch of 450Apex. Doing it at the track this time with smaller batches of riders and we are all loving it! Absolutely the best way to launch the product - by riding it!

@tarunsmehta This is a great result. Very important for customers adoption to eV as longevity and resale value is always a big consideration.

Ather 450 series should consistently see battery life of 100k+ kms. Early on we were conservative since field data was limited and we had built the first lithium battery packs for 2W in India. But the confidence continues to go up. And the best proof of the pudding is in our owners own stories like this one! Your Ather's resale value will beat that of comparable petrol scooters any day.
