The Indian community in Saudi Arabia came together to bid a grand farewell to Ambassador Dr. Suhel Khan. Led by the All India Steering Committee, representatives of diverse Indian community organizations and groups felicitated the Ambassador and expressed their appreciation for his dedicated service. The Ambassador commended the community's spirit of volunteerism, its efforts to promote Indian culture, and its contribution to strengthening India–Saudi Arabia relations. He also appreciated the Indian business community for its important role in deepening economic ties with Saudi Arabia. He assured everyone that the Embassy would continue to serve the community with utmost commitment and dedication. @MEAIndia @diaspora_india

Telling a child “You’re the smartest” can be counter productive. What matters most is that they keep learning, stay rooted and remain competitive yet humble. These truly are Indian values. Could not agree more. IPL is taking a toll on the players physical and mental health. It creates so much fatigue in players that they are unable to perform and put the extra efforts for their Country. As it says when your stomach is full, hunger for better goes. @BCCI #banipl

“Oh missed that exit, let me reverse my car, just 100 meters, what bad can happen?” So many people lose out on decades of life, while trying to save 5 mins. A lot of people will die while adapting to civilised way of using expressways.

@hvgoenka Yes Indians require more civic sense. But this rules seems to coming from the colonial mindset of these shit hotels who still consider India as snake lovers. Why should Indian change themselves so that a gora does not get disturbed!

A Swiss hotel once displayed a list of special rules exclusively for Indian guests which I personally saw and was appalled. Today, videos of garba in restaurants, loud conversations in airports, and turning aircraft cabins into picnic spots keep doing the rounds. Even in Davos, an Indian businessman blasted Punjabi music in a club so the whole town could hear it, calling it “soft power” but to everyone’s annoyance. Japan earned global admiration through their courtesy and civic sense. If India wants to be a true global superpower, the world should remember Indians for its excellence, consideration and respect for others. Our civic sense seriously needs to be upgraded.
