Crazy how we had old Blight speed add-ons and Starstruck Nurse for such a long time and not many people complained but Skull Merchant became a slightly obnoxious killer and no one could stand her even though she was pretty bad xd

Peter is completely right. if you set aside perkz's defense and association with ocelote (Big If), it seems pretty scary to put this g2 lineup into another develoment phase right now.
there's no way they would've stuck together as 5 for 2027 anyway. g2 may be 3rd seed for worlds

Hi Romaine, thank you for the transparancy as always. 2 quick questions: 1) It seems from your post that this move was a long time in coming, was a final decision made before MSI or as a result of performances at MSI? 2) You mention multiple roster decisions that met outcry at the time but have gone well for G2 in the end. However, in certain cases (notably the Mickyx -> Labrov swap) the benefits were only seen after multiple splits of growth. Should this coaching change be seen as a long term move with a view to 2027? Or should fans have broadly similar expectations in 2026 to those already existing (basically an "acceptable" split being an LEC title in Summer and a top 8 at Worlds minimum).

We always look for ways to challenge ourselves to improve the team. We have never been afraid to make tough decisions (Jankos, Yike, Mikyx) if we believe there is a chance to go higher. On the staff side, after winter we felt that we needed a change to help the team break another ceiling. That is why we added Perkz to create this change in our system. Perkz also brings a unique experience and set of skills. But we can't go half way and be indecisive between two visions for the roster, so we decided to empower Luka to take us to the next level. Obviously this has nothing to do with the qualities of Dylan, who is the GOAT western coach of League of Legends. It just means that for this roster and these players, we feel Perkz is the staff lead we need right now. Thank you for your support, from MSI to EWC to LEC, the next weeks will be crazy!

Can I be brutally honest the only chapter I can’t see ever working in dead by daylight is just Jaws, I mean, I just can’t see any aspect gameplay of it. I’ve seen some people try, but it doesn’t make sense. I respect people who want it but for me it’s just meh 🫤
