Austen Roellig hit his second homer of the season in ASU's 11-4 Sunday win over Baylor. He spoke on his versatility hitting from different spots in the lineup and the depth of ASU one through nine: "You can put me in the 7-8-9th hole. And that's for anyone (in our lineup)."

Willie Bloomquist liked what he saw from ASU's pitching staff in its sweep of Baylor: "We're gonna need them to be their best here late in the year. The way the guys threw the ball this weekend, it was a very good weekend for them."

ASU co-captain Nu'u Contrades has been batting in the DH slot as he recovers from injury, but Willie Bloomquist hinted that Contrades could make a return to the field soon: "I would anticipate him being back playing in the field probably this weekend (at UCF)." @SunDevilSource

Kole Klecker (6 IP, 8K) was feeling confident after ASU's sweep of Baylor: "Obviously frustrating one in the midweek, but we challenged ourselves to almost expect to sweep this weekend.... This proves to ourselves we are as good as we know we can be." @SunDevilSource
