@Alicia_MV_ @ContamClub That's definitely a possibility! I'm not a fungi expert but I think they started off looking like very ordinary bacterial colonies--white, round, and nothing remarkable and then after a few days they developed this distinct morphology.

@SunMicrobe @ContamClub Maybe a fungi? Cutaneotrichosporon and Yarrowia look similar although whiter

So I swabbed my phone and streaked on LB plate to make a demo for high schoolers. Something cool grew on it. Are they “Noodlococcus”? @ContamClub

@Ashikai Yes in CN it does say black sun. Btw, the translation of that paragraph about Dain is quite obscuring.

On Dainsleif's intro card, there's a "prophecy" listed and one of the lines is "the eclipse is swallowed by the crimson moon" wherein the "eclipse" can (iirc) be translated as "black sun" as well. Deshret was a Black Star, with Sun God motifs >>
