Since the Simi tweets came out, I want everyone to pay attention to the lack of consequences for everything. Not even did she feel sorry for anything said. She did not lose her brand ambassadorship with @MOLNigeria, and in fact, a lot of your favourite feminists here have made tweets asking to play her music using their Syms Speakers in light of those horrific tweets. I must remind everyone that it all started with her activism over what was clearly a false claim of rape that everyone with half the brain could tell was false. People decided to show her that, at least by her own confessions, she's a pedophile and a child rapist. Hence, she cannot be the one to lecture anyone on these things. Influencers and big accounts took up jobs to support her and claimed she bought the account. When that excuse failed, they said there's nothing bad about the tweets. @naptipnigeria, @Lagosdsva couldn't be bothered about any investigation at all. Not even to go to the said school or invite her for questioning. We've seen how they've handled other cases in the past when men were involved. In fact, @naptipnigeria, @Lagosdsva and @SympLySimi herself obviously believe that they will just let time pass and everyone will move on like nothing matters. They're right because people will move on. Yet, I say these things for posterity and for everyone to see the hypocrisy of the activism that many front here, and also for the lack of consequences.
