Last summer, Floridians mobilized far and wide to defeat plans to put golf courses and hotels in our state parks – but our fight isn’t over. Two bills (CS/SB 80 and HB 209) are moving through the legislature that, as of right now, wouldn’t prevent future development threats, and it’s time to rise up again to ensure our lawmakers take tangible action to protect our parks this session.
