That mismatch was the clue. Stepping through execution one instruction at a time, we could see exactly what data the validator was reading and pinpoint the moment something wasn't right. Fix: github.com/aiken-lang/aik…

We used Gastronomy, our UPLC debugger, to find a bug in Aiken's tooling. One that was causing developers to see different behavior locally vs. on-chain. Here's how we caught it. 🧵

Stablecoins are meant to be stable, and the swap experience should be too. When people swap one stable asset for another, the goal is simple: lose as little value as possible in the process. That’s why slippage matters so much. If 1 USDM and 1 USDCx are both meant to stay close to 1 dollar, the trade between them should stay close to that relationship too. The challenge is that this can get harder as trade size increases. A swap that looks efficient at a smaller size can become less favorable at a larger one, which means bigger trades often lose more value in execution. That’s an important problem to solve because good stablecoin infrastructure should work well for everyone. That’s the thinking behind Stableswaps on SundaeSwap: minimize slippage, keep costs low, and make pricing more consistent across a wider range of trade sizes.
