@DaveWave714 @gogalactickai @Strandjunker Sure, about 98% of early settlers were Protestant, but that doesn’t mean the country was founded on Protestant doctrine. The people were mostly Protestant; the government was deliberately secular.

@gogalactickai @Strandjunker The vast majority of settlers were Protestants, with estimates suggesting colonists were about 98% Protestant overall.

I don’t know who needs to hear this, but we are not a Christian nation. We are a nation where you are free to be a Christian. Your religion guides you, not all of us. It’s as simple as that.

@DaveWave714 @Strandjunker This nation wasn’t founded on Christian values, it was founded on religious freedom because the colonies couldn’t even agree on which version of Christianity was ‘correct.’ Calling it a Christian nation doesn’t make it true. The Founders literally wrote the opposite into law.

@itsKillerKelz His comments overall make it seem like he might be going through a manic episode. It’s not just the content of what he’s saying, but the way he’s expressing it that raises concern.

@mattrife Pretty sure ‘righteousness’ doesn’t mean ‘I said something wild and now people are mad.’ That verse isn’t a shield for bad behavior.

@themoderateman9 @GinoTheGhost Like I said, I’m sure there’s more going on behind the scenes. When someone is unwell or experiencing a manic episode, they can be extremely difficult to manage. The videos he’s posted beyond the initial comments definitely suggest he might be going through something like that.

@Sundeviljay81 @GinoTheGhost Eh he probably shouldn’t have said what he said in public. But waiving someone for that seems a little extreme. Like I said I fine would’ve sufficed

@themoderateman9 @GinoTheGhost The Bulls have a right to waive anyone they want. My guess is that isn't the only reason they did so. There has to be more to the story. Everyone is going off the rails with what he said, but he's clearly not well, regardless if you agree with what he said or not.

@Sundeviljay81 @GinoTheGhost Nope. Veterans deserve respect because they served our country. Black history month exists because of the atrocities of slavery. Pride month is ok tbh. Firing someone because they’re critical of it is insane. A fine would’ve sufficed

@themoderateman9 @GinoTheGhost So should we get rid of Black History Month too? And National Military Appreciation Month? They both highlight specific groups, right? If having a month means ‘demanding special attention,’ then by your logic we should eliminate all of them. That’s the standard you’re setting.

@Sundeviljay81 @GinoTheGhost You know why they get shit? Because they expect to be treated differently. It doesn’t matter if you’re gay or straight. If you demand special attention then yea you’re gonna get shit. But that doesn’t represent most in the LGBTQ community. Just the ones playing victim

@Dreamd0nt @v_Shawarma_v @RealMamaEagle Yes, the colonies were overwhelmingly Christian, they were not all the same kind of Christian. More importantly, the Founders knew how messy religious differences were, which is exactly why they built a secular Constitution that didn’t give any denomination power over the others.

@Sundeviljay81 @GinoTheGhost It’s not hating their visibility lol it’s the pandering bs. I don’t have any issue with gays but having a special month for them? That actually making them seem not normal when they are

@themoderateman9 @GinoTheGhost You don’t get to separate the two just because it sounds cleaner in an argument. Pride Month exists because LGBTQ people exist. Saying “I don’t hate them, I just hate their visibility” is like saying “I don’t hate veterans, I just hate Veterans Day parades.”

@goheels420 @Dreamd0nt @RealMamaEagle Oh man, l really hate to break it to you, but Christianity isn't the ONLY religion that worships God. Also, that on its own does not mean we're a Christian nation.

@moore_kobe24 @Dreamd0nt @RealMamaEagle 1. The Constitution, the document that creates the United States, never mentions Christianity. 2. The First Amendment explicitly bans a national religion. 3. The Founders themselves said the U.S. is not a Christian nation. 4. Many Founders weren’t even orthodox Christians.

@moore_kobe24 @Dreamd0nt @RealMamaEagle I’m going to ignore the insult and answer the claim, because the claim is wrong on a factual, historical, and constitutional level. Name‑calling is what people fall back on when they don’t have an argument. If you had facts, history, or logic you'd use that instead.

@Tpars_boii People celebrating Easter doesn’t prove the resurrection happened, it proves the story has had massive cultural influence for thousands of years. Every major religion has holidays based on events its followers believe happened.

@jaanderson1973 @CREAMYCOLE Calling out sin isn’t the issue, Jesus did that. But Jesus didn’t walk around singling out one group over and over. The people He called out the most weren’t the ones society already judged. It was the religious folks who used scripture to elevate themselves and condemn others.

Jaden Ivey saying God doesn’t listen to sinners means he wouldn’t hear a single person on earth, and on top of that it’s not a Christian’s job to ridicule and publicly attack something they may not agree with. So I notice he’s doing a lot of judging while sitting in a glass house

@jaanderson1973 @CREAMYCOLE Jesus telling believers to judge with righteous judgment doesn’t mean you get to single out one group or weaponize scripture against people you already disagree with. Righteous judgment is about consistency, humility, and self‑reflection.
