Don’t do this. When you’re already in a pit, stop digging. People can tolerate poor governance, but not such blatant censorship. Instead, form a think tank and introspect on why you’re getting community-noted lately. I’ll give you a hint: it can’t happen unless your traditional supporters are turning against you. Anyone can write community notes. They don’t go live and appear on posts unless people across different ideological perspectives upvote them. Before the UGC equity issue, your supporters downvoted community notes against you, even when those notes had some merit, but now they’re not. They are actively upvoting them. So introspect and make corrections. That’s the only way forward. Turning a blind eye and handling it with arrogance will only make things worse for you.

I saw the video of Army Chief and been seeing the plethora of posts criticizing, at least indirectly, such a decision with claims that "we lack shatrubodh." 1) We have to remember, such a decision cannot be one person's. If IA had chosen to attack that way, the decision must have been taken by political leadership, armed forces leadership, and many others together. Keeping in mind the diversity and sentiments of the entire armed forces and our nation. 2) Also, this decision during retaliation strikes on terrorists for an attack on India doesn't mean such decisions will be the norm during a full scale war or when the enemy attacks us indiscriminately. Such decisions are taken based on the circumstances, I am sure. We know how devastating and merciless the Indian army is when it goes for the kill. Let's not fool ourselves that "they are soft" based on Army chief's statements on this one instance. 3) For what is to come, statements and preparation of the entire population of the country is important. I will leave it at that. So let's not mock the army or criticize the chief especially for what he said. I am sure there are very good reasons why he said that and why they did what they did, if they did, during OpSindoor 1.0.

Respectfully, I share the concern over high fees and poor accountability in some private schools. But India and Nepal are incomparable in size, population, and education scale. Copy-pasting their approach isn’t practical. Better to strengthen regulation, enforce transparency, and focus on real learning outcomes suited to India’s realities. And it’s time the current union education minister is sacked for his acts of omission and commission.

Should India take a bold step like Nepal and shut down private schools? 🤔 Because right now, “education” in many private schools feels more like organized loot than learning. Sky-high fees, hidden charges, zero accountability… Parents are paying premium, but are students really getting premium education? Time to ask: Are we building minds or just running a business? 🚨
