@Fred_cpo I think you're on point. It just becomes a problem if nearly every gym is controlled by muslim groups.

l've always done martial arts from being young, however the people l've met growing up in the Manchester martial arts scene from the age of 16 at my old gym Manchester GnP (rip) SBG Rochdale, Knuckles have been some of the best people I have ever met. Many guys I'm sure some of them reading this now lead a lonely existence with no community and no one to relate to, maybe you go to work come back home go to the gym order something on uber eats, maybe if you're lucky you have a girlfriend you see sometimes. What martial arts offers you is genuine connection with your fellow man, because if you're training properly you're suffering together and you've hurt them and they may have hurt you. how much can you know about yourself if you've never been in a fight? I'm sure you've heard that line from fight club maybe.. Similarly how much can you really know about the other guy unless you've wrestled him to the floor and he's kicked you in the face..... Groups of men that support each other and actually KNOW each other and would fight for each other are the back bone and foundation of any healthy society, and you are doing yourself and those around you a disservice by not being apart of such a group.
