@VEWilliamsNA I would say you are showing resilience as you are acknowledging how you feel and where you are at in terms of needing to support others . Resilience is not just about being strong and coping it’s knowing where you are at and taking time out to validate how you feel.
Resilience: The healthcare buzzword. Yesterday, I was not "resilient". Yesterday I had to take 10 minutes away from patients to cry. Not out of sadness but out of frustration and even anger. In a 14.5 hour shift I got no break bar 5 stolen minutes to eat some toast in the morning
We are deeply saddened to hear about the death of Dr Mike Roberts, who was a GP with Rosebank Surgery for 30 years as well as serving the local NHS in a variety of roles. He will be greatly missed by many and our thoughts are with his family at this very sad time.
