The comments I’m getting here, show why people like Logan Paul continue to get away with their tomfoolery.

….. ok that’s it, arrest the people pushing this crap. Make it a scarring memory to those who want to see the US fall. That it haunts their dreams for the rest of their lives if they even attempt indoctrination like this again.
Isabel Brown@theisabelb

Teenagers are sharing photos of their AP U.S. Government textbooks, and the sheer amount of indoctrination is wildly disturbing. Apparently, Barack Obama is ideologically a right wing authoritarian. Hillary Clinton and George W Bush are entirely indistinguishable politically. Donald Trump is of course virtually the same as Hitler. @tedcruz is apparently more radically authoritarian than Fidel Castro AND Joseph Stalin..??!!?? @Linda_McMahon — can we expedite some major changes to American public education?

Regarding my “Anti-AI are terrible” post: I think that describing anti-AI folks in that manner was not helpful to constructive dialogue. There are plenty of honest people who have legitimate concerns about what generative AI means for society. For the record, I never intended to include such people in my condemnation. What I *do* condemn, though, is using people’s voices and likenesses without their permission, hounding people when they honestly disclose AI content, or attacking people who use it to explore their creativity, or going after people who ask it for help creatively, and trying to pass off generated work as your own. I do not think the creative field has to become a war zone when it can be a garden.
Rawle Nyanzi@Parvenu62

I’m what one would call an “AI moderate”, since I view it as one tool among many. Now, it is quite different from other tech advances since it generates and takes action, and even the Copyright Office sees the implications for what it means to be an author. There is a clear line between generating information and true authorship, and I do not dispute that. However, I do not support the current attitude of moral crusading against AI because we’ve been here before, and not long ago either. The cancel culture of the 2010s was aimed at clearing out alleged casual bigotry from public life by any means necessary. Once-robust free speech norms, in both the arts and the internet at large, were abandoned in favor of a constantly shifting book of rules that declared certain forms of art and storytelling forbidden. No matter what you said, no matter what reasons you gave, if someone with a lot of social clout decided you were a bigot, your life was destroyed. Nobody cared about the implications for creative freedom, free expression more broadly, or how it would affect the socializing habits of young people. This is still a danger, and it’s a big reason why younger folks don’t socialize as much — they know that someone is watching, and is ready to destroy them in a flash of righteous indignation. This is why creatives with something to lose aren’t as daring as they used to be, or as open-minded; if they’re on the wrong side of the activists, they will be crushed. This stifling atmosphere is sold as social progress. Now I’m seeing the same thing happen with regard to AI use. Extending beyond those who hide AI use or attribute to themselves the work the AI did, people who use AI to explore their creativity for the first time are blasted by mobs for being creative wrong. They’re told they have to arbitrarily suffer for the “right” to be creative. They have to follow the One True Path or they’re phonies deserving of bullying. And there are those who demand that we not use certain punctuation marks, or that we write badly, just to prove we’re not AI. If cancel culture is any indication, this WILL lead to ridiculous extremes as people draw barely coherent messes or write incomprehensible gibberish just to prove their purity to people who are obsessed with power and control. (Let’s not forget people *falsely* accused of AI use. Anti-AI does not care if they get it wrong, because terror is the point for them.) I do not want a repeat of the 2010s. I do not encourage any form of purity spiraling. I do not shun someone for currently using AI or having used AI. I do not play detective, trying to sniff out someone’s alleged AI use. I do support free expression and experimentation over an atmosphere of fear. I do respect IP rights, and the right of a person to control how their image or voice are used. I do respect any creative’s wishes to not have their work processed by an AI. I do support honest disclosure of AI-generated content. And I do support the amount of creativity in the world increasing. Times are tough, but let’s not add to the misery. That is all.

I cannot trust the anti-AI side. They condemn any and all use of AI no matter what, not just deceptive or malicious uses of it. They use the high-minded excuse of “protecting human creativity,” but in truth, they’re just terrible people obsessed with ruling over everyone.

So...he suggested to his community to pirate a new anime by Wit Studio because allegedly Ai was used to create backgrounds, realized he can get sued pretty hard for it, so deleted the post. Sadly for him, I caught the post before he deleted it.
