Couple times Man Man has been in a bad position defensively and got scored on. He's also had some good defensive possessions guarding the post, and being a deterrent at the rim.

@SUNSWORLDWIDE_ People act like this stage of his jumpshot is the final form too, we are just barely into summer league. Pull up his college jumper beside this and you can see they are building a more compact and repeatable motion.

I don’t gaf about no jumper as long as it goes in 🤣. I saw Lamelo ball throw that shit from over his head in highschool and still shoots like that 🤣

Something to note with rasheer is his jumper looks much more fluid. He used to almost "pause" at the top of his jumper but now it's one smooth motion

@StephenPG3 SPG is there any chance he would play summer league? I think would be a great presence alongside the young guys, and helpful creating a team that plays the suns brand especially relative to summer league standards.

I like the add of Pat Spencer here for the Suns. Can never have enough quick decision guys in your program, can also never have enough shooters or high-level competitors. The game here in February is definitely in mind, looking back on his 2025-26.

@adubbsking24 @TheMattPetersen Williams is the only member of the starting 5 with a career 3pt percentage below 33.5%. I’d agree the suns are low on sharpshooters, (One less than last season so maybe not that bad). But the suns have no shooting argument seems overblown

I agree they needed shooting. The problem is they have paid the non-shooters. If Kennard has to be on the floor, someone Phoenix paid to play (or a prospect who should play) will be sitting more than he should/expected. Likely at least one of Goodwin, Gillespie, Green or Fleming.

Quick thoughts on the Mark Williams deal & the Suns running it back: - Not worried about the front office being patient - This team can be better next year with continuity - It's a risk, but a move will always be there to be made - Williams' contract is decent value

The comp CEILING for Koa Peat from what I have heard is Aaron Gordon/Paolo Banchero. A player who can put pressure on the rim, handle the ball, attack the basket, physical versatile defender who can guard multiple positions, strong resistance with one-on-one defense because of his strength and ability to rebound on both ends plus bring the ball up the court after a defensive board. Time will tell only 19 years old has a lot of time to develop.

@easymoneyyMo I am hopeful on the willing shooter part too. I do like his interior finishing, and could see him as an extra possession generator on the glass early on. Hard to see him getting any run early on if he doesn’t shoot

Ive been watching koa peat highlights the last few hours and man I pray he magically turns into a shooter or a willing shooter because ott will not play him one second next season, hope he makes that Ryan Dunn rookie shooting leap when Ryan was drafted as a non shooter.

@ErikRuby @PHNX_Suns I think his strength and physicality would be interesting with Fleming playing the small ball 5. Would also be nice to have a stronger player to guard big 3s-4s so that brooks would not be the only option in those matchups.

I think Koa will be a good NBA player, but I wonder how he fits into the future with Rasheer. I am intrigued.
