@HighHeelEsquire She is THIRTEEN. If she was 16 or 17, yes this would be crazy overbearing. What are they doing at just 13 they don’t want the mom to see? She’s too young to be totally unsupervised. I don’t think this is too much at all. They’re babies.

@klarstrup I’ve met multiple trans women that have septum piercings and no ear piercings. And obviously there’s nothing wrong with a septum piercing, but it just feels like the wrong order of operations to me lol

@martinaisee The people saying it doesn’t hurt are lying. But it’s not too painful, just make sure you get it done with a needle, not the piercing gun. The biggest danger is infection, but so long as you’re diligent about cleaning it for the first few months it’ll be fine

I’m scared because everyone says “oh your earlobes have no nerve endings so it doesn’t hurt.” Mine do, I can make them hurt plenty fine just pinching them, let alone coring them out with a needle.
