Sad to hear about Jim Colbert’s passing. He was a golf legend, but more importantly he was known by all as a kind, generous man. He was a Navy veteran who didn’t win until his 30’s, a blue collar golfer that doesn’t exist anymore much. We met Jim a few a years back at the bar at Bighorn. He talked to us like long time friends. We laughed and he shared stories, even remembering pin positions at his win at Colonial nearly 50 years ago. He was humble and gracious. The world was better with Jim in it. RIP
