“It appears that, rather than correctly identifying the sex of two new MSPs, someone decided in their infinite wisdom to remove the sex filter for all members. As well as erasing women, there are also wider safeguarding issues here.
“Some women may wish to contact female MSPs only. With this change, there are vulnerable members of the public who may not know they are going to see a male MSP.”

I don’t understand why countries allow non-citizens voting rights or even the ability to run for office. They have no roots or connections to the country and will very obviously create legislation that only benefits outsiders. 🏴

Q Manivannan is the perfect poster child for everything that has gone catastrophically wrong with the West. An Indian national on a student visa somehow ends up as a Scottish Green MSP, immediately starts demanding "reparative justice" payments from Scottish taxpayers to Palestinians, and parades around as non-binary while the media treats "their' identity like a sacred shield. How is Scotland's electoral system so broken that a non-citizen can get elected into parliament? This is not representation but invasion by invitation, the deliberate importation of foreign activists who have zero loyalty to Scotland, zero stake in its survival, and every incentive to turn it into just another globalist playground for their pet causes.

😡😡😡😡There are many things I find utterly bewildering in Scotland in recent years, but this has to be right up there with one of the most ridiculous and humiliating things yet. Crowd sourcing to help him become eligible to do the job the Greens put him forward to do??? Seriously!!!! The Health Secretary is responsible for women’s healthcare, maternity services, breast cancer screening, female hospital wards and single-sex spaces for patients and staff. These are serious issues that shape care and safeguarding across the NHS. He should be able to define a woman without implying it is up for debate.

Why does this continue - the fact there are four letters that have to go in front of the word women means it is not possible.
If biology doesn’t work - Oxford English Dictionary - woman has a definition
Trans women has a definition
Women cannot in the trans definition and trans women cannot fit in the women definition.
The word cannot be two opposing things…
We can’t rewrite the rules of language - or if that ok now - let’s talk about silent p’s at the start of words ….

Starmer’s just appointed James Murray as the new Health Secretary the man now running the entire NHS.
And this is how he defines a woman when a actual woman challenges him:
Woman: “Do you think it’s a bit strange that you’re a man telling me, a woman, what a woman is?”
Murray: “I think a woman is an adult female and a trans woman.”
Woman: “An adult female… and an adult male?”
Murray: “You and I disagree on this.”
Let that sink in.
The bloke in charge of women’s wards, maternity care, single-sex spaces, rape crisis services, and NHS safeguarding can’t or won’t admit that women are adult human females. Full stop.
This isn’t nuance. It’s dangerous ideological capture at the highest level of healthcare. How the hell is he going to protect women’s rights and safety when he thinks biological males can be women?
This appointment is a disgrace. Women’s health and dignity are not up for debate or “disagreement.”
We’re watching you, Secretary Murray. Closely.

The Full Federal Court has handed down its judgement in Giggle v Tickle. In a shock to women across the country - Sall Grover not only lost her appeal, the Court set aside the original finding of indirect discrimination and replaced it with direct discrimination, upholding Tickle's cross-appeal. The damages were doubled from $10,000 to $20,000. It’s important to note the Court expressly said it was only applying the Sex Discrimination Act as it is written- it is "not empowered to give effect to its own view" about whether that law is desirable. In 2013, @JuliaGillard’s @AustralianLabor government amended the Sex Discrimination Act- stripping the meaning out of "man" and "woman" and adding gender identity as a protected attribute to be pitted against biological sex. Today's outcome is proof of what those amendments have done: women are left with no meaningful rights or recognition under the Sex Discrimination Act - a bitter irony, given that protecting women was the very purpose of the Act under our commitment to CEDAW. In my opinion, this is a verdict on the law, not on Sall. The judges found that the law - as that government amended it - left them no other conclusion. These amendments must be repealed. The Sex Discrimination Act must once again recognise biological reality and protect women's right to single-sex spaces.
