@Superqami Ig there's the remakes but XY is the same as gen 7 and I don't think. Those qualify as an intro. But even then they've definitely been completely absent for the last two gens at the very least.

I just realized! The main theme has an intro!! Are we finally going to get a proper intro sequence again when we boot up the game like in gens 2-5?! I really missed those!

I had a friend who let me have his old 2DS with like one Sonic game on it cause he got the 3DS. It was a good like 2 days till my parents realized he didn't let me borrow it and did the whole "that's way too expensive a gift" thing and made me return it. He probably threw it away
