@fesshole He wont notice. At parties i change my top back and forth in the bathroom all night. Nobody ever notices even when its obviously different eg black tshirt/ted tshirt. I take selfies in the bathroom with the changee on, just to prove ive done it

One of the guys in my team is a big conspiracy theorist and has mooted the idea that we are all living in a computer simulation. Whenever we have a Teams call I take my watch on and off several times, off camera, hoping to convince him that he is seeing a glitch in the matrix.

So a tax dodger inadvertently draws attention to an easy tax dodge for the super wealthy - gets caught out - tries to.imply its all 'BBC bias' . Meanwhile some not so clever people ignore the fact they can't afford anything and there are no public services , crumbling schools, crumbling NHS etc because super wealthy don't pay their taxes. If they do start to notice - the super wealthy just go 'look over there , dinghies' - so easy

First run of a brand new training schedule. Really taking things back to basics with small distances and a slow pace to find the enjoyment again and get ready for a few goals for long term fitness.

My general thoughts - Be kind in your mind. Your subconcious listens to that voice, but has no sense of humour, sarcasm, or nuance. If your internal dialogue is self depreciating or sarcastic your back brain is taking it all literally.

Back on track with a 9.8 mile walk today and a new running/ walking/ gym schedule to challenge myself again for new events.

Hmmm. Recipe says "the cola marinade will reduce until it becomes thick and sticky after about 15 minutes." It's been simmering on the hob now for 45 minutes and it's still just a saucepan full of hot cola." I can see a second night of chippy tea in the immediate future.
