This is what Discord should've looked like years ago. Vencord is an open-source Discord client mod with: • 100+ built in plugins • full UI customization • BetterDiscord theme support • built in CSS editor • analytics blocking • browser extension support • settings sync across devices It works on Stable, Canary, and PTB. You can customize almost everything: • themes • message utilities • UI tweaks • audio controls • privacy settings • developer tools • quality of life features Even broken plugins usually get fixed within hours by the community. Discord power users are basically turning the app into something completely different now. Would you ever use a modded Discord client?

@SlugterraFan @Techjunkie_Aman Might be a certain plugin that is causing this. Id suggest disabling all plugins and trying again. If it doesn't leak, try turning on plugins one by one to see which one is leaking

yeah the scope is insane. a canvas element is planned (raw wgpu api bindings and high-level postscript style api ike browsers) tried bun early on actually, the dual event loop was manageable but ram was rough, ~380MB baseline. switched to embedded deno_core and dropped it to ~120MB idle

here's the first alpha release of uzumaki 🌀 native desktop apps with react. no electron, no webview. it's now opensource and i'd love help building this check it out at uzumaki [dot] run

When we shipped Prisma ORM v7, we moved away from Rust to simplify the architecture and invest in long-term flexibility. But it came with a trade-off: performance under high concurrency.
