We had a wonderful visit from the Support Dogs charity. The children loved meeting Rufus and learning how these amazing dogs help people with autism, epilepsy and physical disabilities. @supportdogsuk

Doncaster Knights were visited by guests from @supportdogsuk this morning 🐶 Organised by the Doncaster Knights Rotary Club, the players enjoyed the informative talk and video by Tess, who was joined by dog handler Trevor and very special guest trainee support dog Lilly. Support Dogs is a charity training autism assistance dogs, epilepsy seizure alert dogs and disability assistance dogs for those affected by a wide range of physical conditions including MS, Cerebral Palsy, fibromyalgia, and more. The Doncaster Knights Rotary Club is a charity set up to support local causes and build business relationships across Doncaster. A monumental effort by Sheffield Forgemasters and its employees has delivered more than £21,000 to a #Sheffield charity. Since 2021, the company and its employees have been chasing a target of £20,000 for the nearby @SupportDogsUK charity to train a highly specialised dog, able to assist and protect vulnerable people with epilepsy, autism and disabilities.
