Addressing some sentiment I've seen that you need to be in a study group to be competitive because they share secret tech: Most of the literal best players in the world narrate close to ~100% of their thought process on stream, and many of the next tier (top 0.1% level players) are smaller streamers who will answer 100% of your TFT questions in chat if you ask nicely. The main value of a study group is giving yourself external motivation and a sense of community to make the overall improvement process more enjoyable. I've said it many times but having more fun is the #1 best way to improve. For free options, robinsongz's and Frodan's Discords both have players talking about TFT daily. However I would recommend TFT Coaching of course which has a great community for anyone looking for that experience!

@BrosephTft @Mortdog I think the 1% highrolls when you bring your game back from the brink of death are the most fun games of TFT. I played a game of Mel double dupes today, and it went SUPER well. Bringing myself back from that near 8th place was a TFT high I hope to recreate for years.

@Mortdog I know it's rare, and that's what makes it fun, but truly this double neeko cashout should never be seen in a competitive tournament. It takes too much agency out of the player's hands.

@Mortdog I normally defend Mel as being a reasonably competitive portal. You can reasonably expect to get more items, spats, gold, or all 3. But with the way unit pools work, double neeko is really unhealthy for the game. Someone hits 3 star 4 cost or 2 star 6 cost and it's over
