@csaurageul I've not personally used pin light, found it very difficult to control, but glad it works for you! Overlay i will agree though, awesome blending mode, and duplicating your final layer, blurring it, then clipping it with a overlay set to 5-10% is how i get a more anime look too

@Surryfox hard light is another good one, soft light and overlay are really good, but pin light is my favourite personally

dont draw on a bright white canvas dont draw with bright black lines dont touch the gradient tool dont shade with dodge and burn dont shade with multiply dont highlight with white dont use the same value for any of your flat colours

Some of my concepts and explorations of the heroes' ship, the Nimble! This one took a lot of work, and I wanted to include a lot of fun references in the interior, can you spot them all? (Also, all of the chairs were designed with clearance/holes for tails in mind) #gameoverse

@Surryfox Thank you^^ Shading can help get a better depth-effect, and having a square aspect ratio can also make things easier, but really almost anything can do -w-
