You have a hard on for downplaying Batman for some reason. Of course he has to make plans and be the smartest person in room because he's only human and his teammates are basically walking, talking gods on Earth who could rip him to shreds in less than a second. It's also why characters like Lex and Tony Stark have to be so smart. Their teammates or enemies are literally gods(Wonder Woman,Thor,Darkseid etc etc)
