@CMusky4213 @SawyerMerritt Why isn’t it good for truck drivers? They’re quieter and usually more comfortable too. These aren’t self-driving.

@SawyerMerritt No good for Truck Drivers , good for companies and consumers .. Long Live Capitalism

TWEEPS: The SAVE Act requires passports and birth certificates just to vote. Those cost money. When politicians make you pay money to exercise a constitutional right, that’s a poll tax.
I need 1,000 fast RTs and replies using #SaveActIsPayToVote

@allenanalysis I’m a rural, EV-driving, dog-rescuing 70-year-old lady who really doesn’t choose violence that often. I want to knock that fucking smirk right off his face.

OMG, SHUT DOWN DOGE:
A DOGE official in his 20s testified today that he canceled federal research grants based on personal judgment.
No peer review. No subject matter expertise. No formal process.
Just him. And books he had read.
He flagged a grant studying HIV in prisons during the Reagan and Clinton era — decades of academic research — as “one of the craziest” because it mentioned LGBTQ in the description.
He flagged a grant examining the military service experiences of Black, Native American, female, and immigrant veterans as crazy.
His qualification for making these calls: “A person can have enough judgment from reading books.”
He was then asked if he regretted cutting programs that may have led to people dying.
“No.”
Did DOGE reduce the deficit?
“No.”
A person in their 20s. Reading books. Canceling peer-reviewed academic research. Deciding what knowledge the American government is allowed to fund.
No experience. No regret. No results.
Under oath.

@SteveDa15434515 @Mr_Husky1 Just back from the states mate. It does happen. 40% is now routine and frankly it stinks

My husby and I went out to dinner last night, and the bill came out to $200. I left a $50 tip on the table, thinking that was pretty reasonable. But the waiter looked at it and flat-out refused to take it.
He told us that if we weren’t willing to leave at least $85, we shouldn’t be eating out in the first place.
I was honestly caught off guard. I felt embarrassed sitting there, like we’d done something wrong. We weren’t trying to be cheap or disrespectful — I genuinely thought $50 was a fair tip for that bill. Now I keep replaying the whole thing in my head, wondering if I misjudged it and questioning whether $50 really wasn’t enough.😱

I agree with Trey Gowdy. No wonder there’s ice on the ground everywhere.
The Tennessee Holler@TheTNHoller
Republican ex-congressman Trey Gowdy: “Kyle Rittenhouse was made a hero on the right… Alex Pretti’s gun was lawfully being carried. He never brandished it. And we certainly should not be labeling him a domestic terrorist who was going to execute cops.”

@J0hnBr0wn411 1.2% of CBP personnel are in MSP. They can be supervised by other agencies with a larger presence, while Scott manages the other 98.8% of CBP.

The one person not in Minneapolis today or since the very beginning of this operation is Rodney Scott, the commissioner of US Customs and Border Protection, which oversees Border Patrol.
I’m told DHS has barred Scott from traveling to Minneapolis.

@highfrequenciez I can only imagine how stress provoking and triggering college political science courses are these days. He probably also was criticized for having a parent in law enforcement. Social manipulation is strong and dangerous.
