@HMRCcustomers Good morning If someone had a main job taxed at 20% a pension also taxed 20% and a part time job which was taxed at 40% and now retired from main job would HMRC automatically reduce the part time to 20% or do you have to contact and request this?

@SusanGray10 Hi Susan, If the employer sends the P45 to USS, they'll then take over as the main source of income. If that's what he wants, then yes. Steve

@HMRCcustomers good afternoon, my partner is retiring from his main job, he has a works pension and a part time job. His work have asked if he wants all parts of his P45 or does he want them to send them to USS pensions, which is best as he is on the wrong tax code once retired?
