Livin' it up in downtown Portland. Fighting for a city I 💖that won't fight for me. America first, pass the SAVE act. I fled the Dems and never looked back.

@ORSecretaryRead Maybe talk about these 1,200 ‘known’ mistakes?

@ORSecretaryRead I saw you there, and also saw everyone laughing at you. I haven’t heard that many gay joke since grade school.
English

@SageOfTheMtn @ORSecretaryRead At least Kotek has a long-sleeved button-down cowboy shirt on.
Nerdy soy boy trying to be a real man and real cowboy.
English

@ORSecretaryRead You look as natural in a cowboy hat as kotek looks in her Howdy Doody getup. You people are a bunch of fakes.

English

I don't believe him. Democrats don't talk elections, they speak corruption, a whole different language than you or I speak.
Look at this nerdy soy boy trying to be a real cowboy.🤣

Secretary of State Tobias Read@ORSecretaryRead
Oregon, I will go anywhere in our beautiful state and talk elections. That's why I staffed the Tack Room Saloon at the St. Paul Rodeo. Thank you to the event organizers and all you do to support the community.

@JoforOregon @GovTinaKotek @TinaKotek @ORDeptEd Kotek's got to go!
I feel like Oregon's near the end of a DV relationship. We're packing and getting ready to part ways with her but planning and getting away is the most dangerous time for the victim, abusers go fucking crazy!!
Kotek is vindictive. VOTE HER OUT!
English

@GovTinaKotek When you supremely fail as the Superintendent of Public Instruction during the regular school year, year-over-year, it's logical to cover up those failures by projecting them onto children, huh Kotek?
You must be removed for dereliction of duty.
@TinaKotek

@WhitewolfOr7 Another great post coming from OregonWolf; someone I respect and an honor to follow, and who never ceases to impress me with the facts, truth and ZERO BS.
Call it out, call it all out!

Oh, Tina Kotek.
Well, well, well. Bravo, Governor! Another shining day in the People’s Republic of Oregon, where the only thing getting lavishly funded is your next smug press conference on “equity” and “inclusivity,” while a seven year old girl endures unimaginable trauma because the cops are too bogged down playing social workers and dodging your ridiculous policies to actually respond. SB 48, your absolute masterpiece of catch and release genius. Brilliant. Government’s primary purpose is public safety? How quaint. Clearly, in your world, it’s about turning the state into a taxpayer sponsored revolving door for predators. But hey, why bother protecting innocent kids when there are progressive headlines and donor applause to chase? Priorities, right?
You know what this is, Tina? It’s the utterly predictable, flaming wreckage of soft on crime ideology, slathered in a thick coat of performative “compassion” that fools exactly no one anymore. Underfunded police? Check. Officers stretched thinner than your excuses, endlessly recycling the same revolving door thugs? Check. Legislators high fiving each other for making it tougher to hold actual monsters accountable so they can virtue signal about “reform”? Double check, with extra participation trophies all around. And the victims? Oh, they’re just inconvenient collateral damage in your glorious progressive utopia experiment. That little girl’s trauma isn’t some mysterious “complex social issue,” Governor, it’s the direct, foreseeable result of policies that bend over backward for criminals while leaving families exposed.
OregonWolf here, sniffing the rot wafting from the Cascades to the coast, and let me tell you it reeks of completely inverted priorities. You defund, demoralize, and hamstring law enforcement at every turn, then act shocked, shocked! when the predators roam free like it’s some big mystery. “Public safety should never be up for debate”? Damn right it shouldn’t. So why, pray tell, did your crew transform it into an activist debate club where the bad guys keep scoring wins? Enough with the theatrical nonsense. Time to repeal the revolving door garbage, actually back the blue like you mean it, and recall that real justice isn’t some optional suggestion when kids are paying the price.
The good people of Oregon are done with the endless excuses, Tina. Fix this disaster, or the howls from the rest of us are going to echo a whole lot louder next election cycle. This isn’t compassion, it’s straight up chaos wrapped in a rainbow flag and sprinkled with hypocrisy. America 🇺🇸 🐺

I've got some strong opinions about this and need to have a chat with Jamie Dunphy who is proud of the work he did to see this come to life.
I understand not wanting kids to smoke cigarettes, but they do nothing to stop kids from buying Fetty from the dealers this state refuses to go after.
As you might remember we saw recently a 14-year-old missing child was found deceased at the Waterfront from a (suspected) Fetty OD.
I or anyone else, as an adult, who's capable of making our own decisions just lost that right. We won't be able to go to the store and make a purchase to buy a pack of smokes.
So now they've told us...
we can't buy the book "Unmasked" by @MrAndyNgo at Powell's.
They banned a dish people order in a restaurant, Foie Gras.
Can't wear a back the blue T shirt or carry an American flag down the street without the fear of assault or worse.
They're fighting to make hunting/fishing illegal, and now this.
What's this called?

@1r0nm41d3n13 All I see in downtown Portland are the junkies and the "I-wanna-be-a-real-woman someday" kinda men. Oh and the occasional crazies who come downtown and insist all is good in PortLaLaLand.

So I’m approaching my house and I see two squad cars at Kissling/12th. This is the second time in a month and I think they’re clearing shitbums . If that’s the case I hope this keeps up,
However…
As I crossed Howard my cray cray radar went off. There was a very male presenting female ahead of me so I stayed behind. Well they knew I was there and started yammering at me. They turned around and started yammering more and said “im talking to you” and I said “i dont know you and i dont gaf what you have to say.” Well that did it. The speed of words were now rapid fire. I reached for my pepper spray and they said you dont need to do that and im thinking yeah i kind of do because youre a big crazy whatever. It escalated and they were literally at my gate screaming at me. 🤷🏻♀️

@LibertyPDX1 My entire neighborhood's gone and everything that went with it. Downtown.

I've worked writing this all day and then asked GROK to critique it for me, that helped me with some of the parts I thought people would stumble on, the parts that didn't flow.
I'll put it to music in a bit...
I hope you like it and all the poetry I share, it comes from my heart and soul. ✌️
It’s time for people to rise,
to be courageous and unafraid.
Hold your hands to the skies,
ask for courage and faith.
Let God fill these empty hands with fire and faith
until fear and discouragement have no place.
We’ve got bigots and hypocrites in city hall,
drunk on power, loud and tall.
They cram their policies through,
while dudes are outside smoking the blue,
call it allowable,
thinking they are infallible.
So hasty, they’ll take our safety,
then watch it all crumble and fall.
They claim to give the people a voice,
while police abolitionists cheer and rejoice.
In their hurry to abolish the police,
they watch the blood of the city flow thin,
offering the people no relief.
What do they think they’ll accomplish?
They are the accomplice!
They’ll burn! it! down! stand their ground,
then walk away without a sound
while life limps on in this shit town.
This is what the people want back—
the bar on the corner, the worn pool table,
meet friends for a beer and spread their cheer.
The store up the street
for a drink and something sweet,
the places we miss,
the ones we used to haunt.
Take their kids to the parks
free of needles and freaks.
We didn’t elect Karl Marx or the chaos he sparked!
Until Satan planted the seed—
hate bloomed through the cracks in concrete,
and stole the city’s heartbeat.
Will they succeed in defeating
this once-grand city,
its streets now paved with death and pity?
Or will we rise, hands to the skies,
and make “The Rose City”
truly the city that rose again?

@CoastalNonnie I'm aware of how vindictive Kotek is, remember she signed HB2002 into law 13 months after Roe-v-Wade was overturned. IMO she went after conservatives when she did that.
English

Elect Drazen and stop the bloodletting of Kotek. We have to start somewhere.
This is where you will be if Kotek is re-elected:
-First of all she is pissed off because you did not pass her Transportation Bill. Right there she is going to rip your ass in new taxes, just because she CAN!
-You will lose homes because you cannot pay your new increased property taxes.
-You will lose access to the rivers and lakes we now have to pay a fee to use.
-You will be moving because your rent is going up. Do you think property taxes imposed does not affect your rent? Because it does! When the state or county imposes an increase to ALL properties, that means your rent WILL go up!
Crime? Do you really think she cares if your throat is cut? Or your kids are stabbed? Raped?
English

I've been reading through Drazan's X account and I'm not impressed. We're less than 4 months away from the election, I'm not seeing or hearing a cohesive plan of action. I'm feeling hopeless and alone.
I don't think she has what it takes to win this election. 🤷♀️
I see a lot of her saying Tina Kotek this or that...
or "Oregonians deserve better."
YES, WE DO!!
I'd like to hear the plan to address
Sex offenders who run loose and abuse Oregon women and children.
Child transitioning and holding people responsible.
Homelessness/housing.
Fentanyl, Addiction, mental illness, drug induced psychoses.
Crime, law enforcement.
Antifa.
Socialists running for office and those in office working hard to finish the job Kate Brown and Tina Kotek have started.
And while I'm at it, my fight for SIX years has been to have leaders address Portland's downtown housed community, the trauma we've endured, watching our neighborhood be decimated by riots endorsed by Dem rule, leaving us alone, scared... many of us elderly, disabled and unable to leave, writing rent checks to live in a slum.
Are you better, @ChristineDrazan @TeamDrazan?
After the election I will change my voter registration to Independent because I can't see where the @Oregon_GOP has played a part in making anything better...
Are you enough, do you have what it takes?
English

I never said I'm not going to vote or that I'd vote for Kotek. I was a dem, voted VBNMW for decades, had my eyes opened in 2020, fled the D party, I knew nothing about Repubians except I had been brainwashed to hate them, to fear them, I was just hoping against hope (as I know now) that I wouldn't have to cast another "desperation vote." I thought wrong. I did vote for Trump, zero regrets, and yes, of course, I'll cast a vote for the lesser of 2 evils.
I'm still learning about the republican party, I don't have to like what I see.
English

@Susan_G_530 You have a choice between the current nutjob or someone who is better, but not perfect. Do you really want 4 more years of what you have? Quit bitching and vote for the lesser of two evils.
English

@Susan_G_530 And for goodness sakes! Don’t forget our abysmal schools!!
English

@PenetantZynner How long have you lived in Oregon, why haven't you?
English

@Susan_G_530 Then get off your ass and do something. Find a candidate that is better. Start a drive to amend the State Constitution to eliminate VBM and clean up the voter rolls. Support and demand the Save Act.
English

"Portland’s core has been decimated, and too many housed residents—especially elderly and disabled—have been left traumatized and abandoned."
Thanks for saying this. I was writing about this very thing this morning. There are so many people I have ran across who have been willing to even hear about residents being abandoned and traumatized. At least not until I came to X. I'm one of those residents.
There are so many issues in Portland and across the state it's difficult for me to say what I'd like to see the most. Everything's that's happened hit me in ways I never imagined, one day at a time I just hope to see progress, I know it will take years to regain the integrity the city and state has had stolen.
ICYMI here's my testimony to city hall.👇

“I get the frustration—less than 4 months out and we need real, specific plans, not just slogans. Oregon isn’t a deep-red conservative state; it’s blue-leaning overall, and our Republicans here are generally moderates who have to navigate that reality.
That said, after years of Kotek (and Brown before her), the status quo is failing badly on homelessness/housing, fentanyl & addiction, crime, public safety downtown, and protecting kids/women. Portland’s core has been decimated, and too many housed residents—especially elderly and disabled—have been left traumatized and abandoned.
Drazan has talked about auditing homelessness spending, treating addiction/mental health as the core issue, enforcing laws, supporting law enforcement, and rebuilding Portland. It’s not the full detailed platform drop some of us want yet, but it’s a sharper contrast than continuing the same failed leadership.
We don’t have to love every candidate to agree that voting out Kotek is priority #1. Moderates, independents, and fed-up Dems can unite on results over perfection. After the election there’s time to push for better and even switch registrations if needed—but right now, splitting or sitting out just hands another term to the people who broke Portland and the state.
What specific plan details are you hoping to see most? Let’s hold the campaign accountable while working to win.”

@patticakeski Like someone else said, we got to stick together.
