Trudeau ran on what people consider as 'woke' idealogy and pretty far left and it turned off a lot of people. Carney is not doing that. I know many people down the center and leaned right, now voting for Carney for various reasons. He seems calm, intelligent, rational and standing up for Canada. Canadians dont care about the last 10 years right now. They care about standing up for Canada and think Carney is the best option. Thats where Canadians heads are at. I have asked them straight up why they changed and every single one of them basically gave me that answer. Carney will win in a landslide.

@CoryBMorgan Average full time job in Canada is now 36 hrs per week (people are taking more time off) over 49 weeks = 1,764 hrs annually. Average teacher works *at least* 50 hrs per week over 41 weeks = 2,050 hrs annually. Even 40 hrs/wk x 49 wks = 1,960. What was that you were saying? :)

Alberta teachers make an average of $82,000 per year plus generous benefits while working 195 days per year. The average Alberta salary for working 245 days per year is around $70,000. Despite this, teachers got quite upset at the suggestion they have their convention during days when school is already out thus not displacing student learning time. Would working 197 days per year kill them? It would still offer them nearly 50 more days off than the average Joe.
