HS teammates told me I’d never achieve my dream of playing pro ball. Travel coaches told me to go to a JC b/c I wasn’t a D-I talent. Scouts told me I was too small & I would never be considered a prospect. I’m thankful for those experiences b/c they continue to motivate me.

Players: There are tons of amazingly talented players who eliminate themselves from ever making it due to lack of respect/bad attitude, terrible grades, no work ethic, poor social media posts, alcohol/drug problems, partying/social life. Be smart about all aspects of your life.

Today, society is making it where being on a team is no longer a privilege, playing time is no longer earned, coaches are to blame, kids are not held accountable, & winning doesn’t matter. In return, we expect young student athletes to be prepared for what life throws @ them. 🤔
