In a season of turmoil, never really believed we would go down. There’s been plenty of moments where that had been tested, we’ve missed opportunities to create distance, but picked up points critically when needed. Feels the biggest summer coming up, squad and stadium #nffc

@OllyBausor Same. Similar to last season we’ve over achieved, in the respect of what kind of club has four managers and still manages to compete! It would have been amazing to get George last night, but from the start I always thought Villa would be the toughest test. Sad but so proud.

I feel weirdly Zen after last night's result... - The injury situation - The Villa performance - The Home atmosphere being the 12th man. - Weirdly the scoreline Reason being, if we had lost that game in the 97th minute, or by one tight goal against the run of play etc etc... 🤯🤢

@paulmorley19 @nffc_tim Totally agree. These moments can be fleeting, so we must enjoy them when we have them, otherwise life will be incredibly boring. Look at the play off semi final celebrations, we hadn’t won anything at that point, but did anyone complain? The fun police need to stand down!

Seen plenty of digs on here at the ‘over celebrations’ from #NFFC fans after last week’s home leg, “should have kept our powder dry” etc. Waking up this morning with an ‘empty’ feeling makes you realise that you SHOULD get lost in those special moments when they come along as a football fan. Young or old. Otherwise, what’s the point? For what it’s worth, here’s a video of me and a load of other middle aged blokes getting carried away last week. Do we look like fools now? Perhaps. But who cares. In the moment, it was pure joy. And we bloody loved it. And that’s what it’s all about. U REDS!

Very kind. Gen Z Forest supporters don't seem to rate me though. So, a refresher.. No Forest striker has scored more league goals in a top flight season in 117 years. A list including.. Nigel Clough Ian Storey Moore Garry Birtles Teddy Sheringham Pierre Van Hooijdonk Tony Woodcock Chris Wood Trevor Francis Peter Withe Kevin Campbell No Forest footballer has more goal contributions in a Premier League season( 28. 22 goals, 6 assists) I know the old A block and Trent End boys feelings, they know what they saw. But I'm replying to this because there seems to be a thing amongst Gen Z fans who seem to need to validate their own heroes by slagging off those who've gone before. No idea why, maybe they just need to feel their heroes today are as important. They are. But a football club is great because of all who've laid their own brick down, not just those of yesterday or indeed today. Not just Forest, seen it at other clubs.
