In an update from the Freedom flotilla one of the crew explains that the vessels that surrounded the Madleen have now left, in what appears to be a false alarm.

🚨 UPDATE: Madleen crew member Thiago Ávila says the earlier report of an attempted Israeli interception was a false alarm. Alarms were sounded and life jackets were put on after passengers spotted multiple lights suddenly surrounding and circling the ship — but the ships later disappeared without incident.

Elon Musk was very ill-advised to do this kind of salute to denote his clearly stated ‘my heart goes out to you’ sentiment… but he obviously didn’t mean it as a Nazi salute and anyone who says he did is being a disingenuous idiot.

@ronancollins7 Ronan .. in 25 years time there will be too many elderly including you and me … Who is going to look after us and where ?

In 2050 I in 4 of us will be over 65 ...I in 4 of us will get stroke or dementia ...1 in 10 will break a hip ....how v disappointing programme of government has no specific mention of implementation of national stroke or dementia strategy...Nothing specific on ageing healthily or adding life to years ....in my opinion no real evidence of understanding the priorities or challenges we face.

@ronancollins7 kept alive by medicine or allowing nature to take its course … the choice is horrendous . I think we are already on slippery slope where respect for elderly & finance to support their care is being decreasing all be it not consciously … it’s awful !
