@SuzuNerd @toybabez Well, I think we should judge the people who chose to buy those services. Because again, the vast majority of them are rich people that think they can use women as their persona breeding tools. Nothing excuses risking the life of another person for 9 months.

@Drapy_Art @toybabez 1. Different countries different rules on surrogacy. If a woman willingly consents to being a surrogate that is their body their choice to do so. If the parents are in a safe, loving home, caring for the child. the way they have had the child does not make them a bad parent.

@SuzuNerd @toybabez Most of them are done through agencies that exploit women. Also, being a parent is not a necessity nor a right. And if to fulfill that “wish” you need to buy another’s human’s being as an incubator maybe you do not deserve to be a parent to begin with.

@toybabez @Drapy_Art Wheres the expense of someone else? If someone voluntarily consents to being a surrogate they have their own reasons for being a surrogate. Their body their choice as for payments via money coersion is definitely not right. I know how they are paid vary different countries.

@SuzuNerd @Drapy_Art Getting a child is not a right, no one has a “right” to reproduce at the expense of someone else. Surrogacy is inherently exploitative and morally iffy. Surrogate mothers go through a lot of struggles that don’t get talked about because “she agreed to it”

@Drapy_Art @toybabez Ofcourse using money as a means to get someone to be a surrogate is not right at all. However there are people that choose to be surrogates not for money purposes but to help couples that struggle with fertility. Also in my country there are rules on payments for surrogates

@SuzuNerd @toybabez Because is still rich people taking advantage of a woman of lower class’s monetary necessities. In my country it is illegal for that same reason. Women’s bodies are not something that should be traded. We are not a product.

@SuzuNerd @Drapy_Art I don’t know that’s the reason for sure, but lots of celebrities have stated pressure to stay thin factored in their reason to hire a surrogate. Personally, I don’t care what someone’s reason is. They’re not entitled to a biological child or someone else’s womb
