It didn’t ruin anything. The lion turtles give you bending, but they can’t teach you how to use it. Dragons use fire (firebenders), sky bison use air, badgermoles use earth, and the moon moves the ocean. Lion turtles gave power & a weapon, nature taught them how to use it.

I feel like this is going to have big consequences for the next game idk what to choose
