@Awk20000 People here must overlevel if they think Misty is easy. Unless you feed the wild Oddish or Bellsprout all the experience from Nugget Bridge, it’s hard for it to be higher than level 17. Pikachu has terrible defense and would likely get 1 shot by Water Pulse unless overleveled

DSP expresses frustration after struggling in Pokémon against the 2nd gym leader "It cheated again..I lost again bc it's a critical hit..I lose the character I needed to win..completely f'in stupid..there's nothing u can do..the game cheats..it always has the advantage on u..every rare chance hits for the computer only..what did I do wrong? Nothing”

@BarstoolTenn That was the first sign the refs weren’t letting us win this game. Michigan is to good for the Barnes drought that occurs each game.

@MarkNagi Lots of fouls on the big guys the second Mara went to the bench. Then the classic Barnes team drought where they can’t hit water if they fell out of Noah’s arc.

Tennessee is in huge trouble here. Good timeout by Barnes. Whistles will probably tighten a bit now but a lot of damage has been done.

@kantozard kanto is an interesting take because you can get a mankey and a pikachu before the first two gyms. mankey obviously beats Brock and Pikachu for Misty. Even if you didn’t want to grind to evolve Charmander, you’re still fine

can someone legitimately explain to me why people are saying that fire starters in the kanto and hoenn games are considered “rough” for the start of the game? i never had any considerable trouble 😭

@SmartTCG @aleksander_301 Back in the early-mid 2010s you had great players and great deck builders. Even if the crazy deck builders were good-above average players they had the advantage of a deck no one had an idea how to counter. I remember seeing Archie-stoise cut and t16 Kentucky states, it was wild.

I’ve played since 2011 and the game is so much harder now. The average player has easier access to information they didn’t have 10 years ago. A lot of info was totally gatekept and the best players had a far bigger advantage with the pokemon community on the internet being smaller back then. The game isn’t softer it’s so much harder to do well in 2026. People have always tried to netdeck, it’s just being done at a more public and higher scale now.

When I played from 2008 to 2013 before I quit after going to worlds in 2013 I noticed a big change. Decks back then had so much creativity and testing groups were smaller. Now we have massive 400+ person metafy groups and people just net deck. I had no insane resources like that apart from 6Prizes which was partially pay-walled and pokebeach. Past that there was nothing really. It came down to having the cards and testing it in person. The game has become soft and players need to think for themselves. This new format post rotation will reveal a LOT about how people build decks now. And it won’t be pretty.

@CooterVol They’ve deleted twice in 2 years in the cfp. If Texas tech had a qb they lose that game.

@DOrlandoAJC @steakshapiro You pea brain. You don’t even know who would be available at 13, let alone if they would be as impactful as Pearce has been. Curmudgeon

@DOrlandoAJC @steakshapiro The pick is worth it since Pearce was a monster. If he had flamed out it would look worse. Same for Bijan they should have taken Carter just based on needs. BR turned out great so it’s okay.

@ZeroContextVols You do realize he’s the career leader in FG% in the history of Tennessee football right? I’m not upset he’s gone because he missed 90% of important kicks but far from the worst

Heupel just got out coached again. Very likely 7-5 or 6-6 next season. Player development is awful. We got lucky Nico left.
