@Polystatio49969 @zdr_0x @Awk20000 Parasect learns spore way above level 24. The point is that if you’re overleveling that much to beat the 2nd gym leader, then she’s obviously not easy.

@UnstoppableEli @zdr_0x @Awk20000 Anyway never challenge a gym leader when you’re under leveled have higher leveled Pokémon. Misty’s Starmie is 21 you should have Pokémon leveled 25 or 26.

@Polystatio49969 @zdr_0x @Awk20000 If you’re doing all of that for the 2nd gym leader, then that does mean she is too hard! Paras doesn’t evolve until level 24, and Paras sucks. Unless you skip her gym to go to Vermillion, it’s way too time consuming to do that.

Yeah get the VS Seeker from the cool trainer girl in Vermillion city’s Pokémon center. And grind or level up in the area near nugget bridge full of strong trainers and hikers there.

@ReggieLeeChoke @Awk20000 When I played, I rarely spend time grinding levels. I don’t think I had Pokemon above 17-18, except Wartortle. Bellsprout could do a good amount of damage, and then Wartortle or another Pokemon would clean up

@Polystatio49969 @zdr_0x @Awk20000 If you have a Parasect, then you have spent way too much time leveling. Doing this game in a timely manner, only Ivysaur or Wartortle with bite can beat the Starmie. Bellsprout, Oddish and Pikachu can do a lot of damage, but likely won’t win 1 on 1.

If the Wizards fall out of the top 4 this is the guy I would take. Once he gets stronger in a year or two he’s going to be a great player.
Also pretty sure this is the guy Dawkins would take as well. Fits the mold of what he looks for.
