I #failed !!! Yes, I failed, So ya it's final goodbye to @Blotic_web3. We are closing the operations of Blotic as a startup. Having said that, the community will always be there and the college chapter will function as an individual unit.

The video came out not so clear lol. TLDR; I am taking up a new role at @aptos to lead Global Expansion. My vision is to take the learnings from India and localise in new markets, opening up Aptos to invest in high-quality founders, engage in policy, reinvent public infrastructure, and build a thriving community. We are just getting started. Watch this space for more.

Current builder community scene in India: - Go to different chains - Tell them you’ll help them expand in India and onboard devs - Plan a 3/5/7/20 city tour - Bill them $3000- $5000 per city meetup - Connect with local city chapters/DAOs to run this and give them 50% of your event cost - Local DAOs reach out to blockchain clubs in colleges to attract developers - Do one event, walk through slides nobody cares about, take pictures to share on social - Rinse and repeat with another ecosystem The challenge with this is that chains eventually realise that all these meet-ups lead to minuscule builder activity and stop funding such initiatives. Problem is that every day new chains and ecosystems are looking to launch in India so there’s always fresh supply of funds available. To the point where it’s the same developers that attend the meet-ups of these ecosystems. No net new applications are built. Hundreds of thousands of dollars are spent. If you’re a chain looking to work with Indian developers, meet-ups aren’t the way to go- - Build deeper programs - Create content - Partner with web2 VCs and founder collectives

I’m creating a group of tech and non tech people who genuinely believe in building and executing products in web3. We will collaboratively work on figuring out the ideas, validate them, launch them in the market & run it profitably. Reason: I see web3 companies are deploying millions of grants into something which is not getting built, builders aren’t able to collaborate much or not able to find right team to validate and launch the products, this takes too much of self time. We will not chase for billion dollar ideas, but definitely many million dollar ideas. Let’s do it? If you’re a backend, frontend, designer, marketer, community leader or BD person who got that one extra hour to contribute and be part of the upside then dm me. 🤞 Please tag people who can help me get this tweet to right people.

2 Devs. 5 Months. 7+ Games. $1.5M+ in volumes. 160k+ on-chain plays [Solana + Eclipse] This is the incredible story of Solana's most criminally underrated team: @send_arcade! The beginning: @semiii and @blurry_04 (two 21 y/o college dropouts) were jumping from one hackathon project to another and from one chain to another. However, they never saw any real user traction from any app they built. In late July'24, they came to Solana Startup Village, Bengaluru by @SuperteamIN –– building another hackathon project. At that time, Solana Blinks by @saydialect was freshly launched –– and was at peak hype. SEND was the epicenter of all ideas, speculation, and builder energy for blinks. The then blinksman, @iirfan pitched them an idea: Build a community chess game using Blinks. This team took this as a challenge –– they literally slept in the Bengaluru Office (@shipyard_) and built the MVP in just 2 days! In mid-August, they launched 'Checkmate' –– a solana community chess game, which didn't receive much traction but still got 100 SOL+ in prizes and 500+ moves and they did generate profits! Ask any builder –– and the feeling of getting the first real users and revenue is surreal. That alone was enough to motivate the team. We officially named it SEND Arcade and told them to focus solely on building products while we handled branding, strategy, GTM, distribution, and more — making them the first team to join the SEND Ecosystem! How SEND Arcade Games Work: The concept is simple — recreate childhood games, but entirely on Solana with real money. For each game: 1) Players enter using SOL. 2) The SOL goes into the SEND Arcade pool. 3) If a player wins, the SOL is swapped for SEND (creating inherent buy pressure) and sent to the winner! Interestingly, this also acts as a Trojan horse, bringing more holders to SEND while they play these addictive games. The Growth from 0 to 1: Over the next 3 months, even as the Blinks hype faded, the team continued shipping: 1] Squad Game S1 with a $10k+ prize pool (inspired by Netflix's Squid Game) 2] Solana Score (1.2k+ wallets, 300+ NFTs minted) 3] Send Coin Flip (8k+ flips, $250k+ volume, 1K+ wallets) 4] Snakes and Ladders (100k+ plays, $1M+ volume, 5] Rock, Paper, Scissors (5k+ plays, $100k+ volume) 6] Squad Game S2 with $50k+ prize pool (passes minted in <1 sec on @MagicEden launchpad) Out of all, Snakes and Ladders was a real breakthrough: Interestingly, players paid a small amount (0.0039 SOL) to roll the dice — most assume it's a gas fee and they're playing for free :P Whenever they won, they received SEND, NFTs (incl. SMBs), and other memecoins. And yes, rolling dice is hella addictive! Distribution Channels –– All organic, with $0 spent on marketing: –– Twitter Blinks –– Own website (sendarcade dot fun) –– Natively inside Backpack Mobile App (Top 3 Blinks are from Send Arcade) –– Eclipse Campaigns (Top 10 app on Eclipse) The Achievements: In the process of building games, they also won: –– $5.5K through two prizes at Blinkathon –– $3K in the Solana AI Hackathon –– Grants from eco teams like @metaplex + pitched at 5+ Solana events + Helius launchpad Not just gaming — they're also deeply active in AI: –– Active contributor to @sendaifun's Solana Agent Kit –– Created numerous demos/starters on Solana Agent Kit (one was even shared by @solana, racking up 3.6K likes!) –– Arcade Agent: a Telegram-based AI agent via which you can swap, send each other funds, and also play rock paper scissors! Why is SEND Arcade so amazing? –– Fully bootstrapped and funded purely by real revenue & hackathon prizes ($0 in grants from us—apart from heavy involvement) –– MRR is ~$30K, and all games are unit profitable 🤯 –– Built by just two scrappy devs! What's Next? SEND Arcade is expanding the team (more devs = faster shipping) and working on 5+ products in parallel! While mini-games are strong cash cows, the focus will shift to more strategic plays: 1) Infra & Tooling for Solana GameFi + OSS contributions to both AI & consumer ecosystems –– believe me, it'll blow your minds! 2) A mobile SuperApp for all Send Arcade games, with an embedded native wallet 👀 3) Deep strategic partnership with a $1B+ Solana protocol ;) 4) Always Solana-first, but keep expanding to other chains for more users & revenue 5) Owning the middleware layer – shifting toward a platform play via horizontal integrations (think Shopify for mini-games) And ofc, more GameFi products! Above all, they’ll ruthlessly kill low-traction products/tooling to maintain a lean, high-impact product suite. Why is SEND Arcade so close to me? –– They're some of the most passionate builders I've seen — they literally built for 2 months with ~0 funds and successfully bootstrapped a profitable startup. They're hungry! –– SEND Arcade helped me discover a unique model for SEND — paving the way for @sendaifun and potentially more SEND XXX verticals soon 👀 " SEND is now a collective of sovereign profitable startups, unified by a singular marketing engine and a token. " I spend a significant chunk of my time each day helping them with strategy, product, and partnerships. I’ll personally ensure Send Arcade becomes one of the strongest consumer teams on Solana in 2025 –– Solana isn't ready for what's coming from Send Arcade 😉

One month in, I'm excited to announce I've joined @Aptos to lead community in India. During this time, I got a chance to connect with some of the brightest minds at Aptos, including @AveryChing, @BasharLazaar, @HeisenRao @mmchingonline @BrittSab and many more, huge plans for India are on the way! Over the past few weeks, I’ve been focused on shaping @MoveClub_ind making it a curated community of founders and developers driving @Aptos_Ind ecosystem. A big focus over the past month has been on shaping @MoveClub_ind into a curated powerhouse of founders and developers driving innovation within the Aptos India ecosystem. The goal is simple: Identify the most pressing challenges in India’s Web3 space and how can @Aptos solve them. And this is just the beginning, there’s so much more I can’t wait to share! Big thanks to @NareshKx ser for making this possible. The coming weeks are packed with exciting announcements, new partnerships, and opportunities to empower India’s Web3 builders. Instead of doing a 2024 wrapped, thought of doing a decade wrapped. After all, our plans are measured in decades. Here's what the past ten years have looked like- 2013- Aeronautical engineering grad, Manipal- Mostly hung out at local bars 2013 - Research associate at IIT, Kanpur - Researched tire noise and built structures to reduce it 2014 - Financial consultant at CRISIL, Mumbai - Worked with multinationals, travelled the world, stayed at 5stars, top of the world vibes, started dating seriously 2016 - Urban infrastructure consultant at KPMG, Delhi- Joined a back-office role, hated it, quit in 6 months, had fun barbecuing in Delhi winters 2017 - Fundraising at Teach for India, Mumbai- Learned firsthand how hard nonprofit work can be, started hanging out with CXOs, Started my own nonprofit 2018 - Impact investor at LGT, Mumbai- Went back to finance roots, found investment banking boring, opened a restaurant in Himachal 2019 - Strategy at a large NBFC, Bangalore- Worked with the most passionate people, learned about balancing purpose and profit, consolidated views on capitalism, got married. 2020: Stoa happened, Joined every single CBC out there, Got sucked into web3, No formal employment period begins, built a lending product for friends and family 2021 - Built 10+ small scale projects and ran a builder's community with friends. Got on twitter, went viral every few months. 2022 - Joined a VC firm to look for a cofounder, found him and built a payments company, thesis made sense in theory, shifted to a small house to ensure longer runway 2023- Realized lack of domain knowledge, Shutdown the company, Hadn't taken a break in 3 years, went to Europe for 3 months **** Got onchain*** 2023- Started researching and trading, built thesis, 100xd personal portfolio, ran multiple funds, got active on Farcaster 2024- Started a truly onchain (FBI) community with friends,FBI became the largest (and most fun) builder collective on Base, had a baby boy, joined Base to lead India efforts I've juggled careers and roles- doing everything from finance, data, marketing, product, research, community, sales, investments, and hiring. It's finally started to come together as I execute what I think is the biggest mandate I've taken to date- Bringing India onchain. Onwards to the next decade.

In just the last 2 weeks I’ve met hundreds of projects and thousands of builders. There’s this incredible energy around India and Indian builders. Lots that going well for the ecosystem. Here’s what I distilled from these conversations that's not. **Disclaimer: There is a significant disparity between top 1% Indian builders and everyone else. The 1% crowd gets paid high 6 figures, understands deep tech, debates Vitalik, plays around Defi, Depin, makes jokes on VCs, knows ins and outs of the industry. If you’re one of them, please ignore this. It’s not for you. 1. 99% of Indian builders are not onchain This sucks. Because now you’ve got builders that can build literally anything but lack consumer insights. All because they’re not a consumer of the space they’re building in. 2. Short term mindset of chasing grants Products that could be scaled and could raise millions are buried in hackathon and bounty graveyards because builders hop from one project to the next. 3. Really low salaries by hiring locally Onchain is global but Indian founders, even those that’ve raised millions, pay below market salaries. Folks getting paid high six figures is an exception and not the rule. 4. Communities solely make money from events Events have found PMF in the industry. Challenge is that running events isn’t profitable at scale. Most communities run after the same few blockchains asking for grants to fund meetups. Here's how I think we can fix it together- If you're an Indian builder- i. Get onchain ii. Stop chasing grants and start obsessing over users and the problem you're solving iii. Get involved in global dialogue - turn notifs on for thought leaders and founders If you're an Indian founder- i. Get onchain ii. Start paying your employees global salaries. Hire A+ candidates only, it'll show in your product. If you're an Indian community leader- i. Get onchain ii. Think about running deeper programs, building products, and/or creating content. Play positive sum games. Celebrate everyones wins. Bringing India onchain is a massive mandate, and is only possible together.
