@SwedeW Because that's what you're advocating for when you try to claim anyone should be able to join the hall of fame. By your logic even people that don't nuzlocke should be in the nuzlocke hall of fame. There has to be rules for that Hall of Fame to mean anything.

@AbyssionKnight The issue is that people playing nuzlockes are playing on a "self-imposed" ruleset, yes alot of people can have similarities how they play but why should anyone else dictate how YOU play the game?

@SwedeW I don't see the issues with having a public leaderboard, and then having standards for that leaderboard. You can still nuzlocke the game without being on the leaderboard, so who cares?

@saltfist I wiped to champ on blue kaizo, in a fully streamed nuzlocke attempt.

@SwedeW Pretty sure the only people who have any sort of negative opinion about this aren't ever going to complete a fully streamed run of a Kaizo ROM so it probably doesn't matter what they think.

@matteototto If you want to be on the hall of fame for platinum kaizo and something outwith your control happens (i.e a bug/pc crash etc), you need to submit a google form to have your clause validated There was a meme about the NVC (Nuzlocke validation council) but its actually true now

I'm a bit perplexed at some of the takes I'm seeing regarding Champions not having unevolved Pokémon at launch Like, SV didn't have Clefairy for 10 months, Porygon2 for 13, Incineroar for 13 and you didn't have people saying it can't be the place for competitive due to it?

@GabbySnyder @osirusvgc NSO, HOME, Incentivised to get the battle passes. Membership, all before you pay to go to a regional+ event with increasing costs, the average person is being priced out even more than before. You need to look at the bigger picture

@osirusvgc I know people will complain regardless but $45 a year for membership is honestly not that bad.

@MegaMogwai The games are played 6v6 singles. All of them. The anime is ALWAYS 6v6 singles. To this day I have 0 clue why this ISN’T the way the competitive scene works. Beyond confusing to me they don’t even support it as a sub way.

Upon announcement, I was EXTREMELY EXCITED for Pokemon Champions. Then... I learned the hard truth. 6v6 singles will likely not be supported, definitely not for ranked gameplay at least. Nothing against those who enjoy 3v3 singles, but I personally do not find the format appealing. Doubles... has never really been my thing. VGC has a big following and I'm very happy for players getting access to champions, I think it's going to grow the VGC scene A LOT. The worst aspect of competitive pokemon was always breeding the mons. I understand why they don't support 6v6. Time. Battles take very long, and while on Showdown it plays out super well, in game with the animations and everything, it's a problem. But man, I wish 6v6 got more attention. It's by far the most enjoyable way to play competitive pokemon FOR ME. How do y'all feel about this? I rarely see any discourse online about this. The idea of having a fresh new meta in 6v6 would be soooo exciting, especially considering the only mechanic available would be megas, which is by far the best one IMO. I would legit get back to competitive mons if I could make 6v6 content. If I can't, I'm afraid it's a deal breaker for me. Am I alone here?

@stickbugged_lol Also the entitlement that ppl should have prioity over anyone else in what is essentially an "open" tournament because they have more cp than others, when really we need to be pushing for organisers to have bigger allocations for the larger events so everyone can play
