This explanation doesn't add up. When drones enter controlled airspace, planes are immediately rerouted/grounded and this did not happen last night. Pilots were given more than 1.5 hours notice of the closure and were allowed to land and take off during this period.

The FAA and DOW acted swiftly to address a cartel drone incursion. The threat has been neutralized, and there is no danger to commercial travel in the region. The restrictions have been lifted and normal flights are resuming.
