@ColeFusionHQ I once sat near a group of men in a pub, one of whom was nicknamed "Doctor Congo" because when he arrived the TV was showing a football match featuring Democratic Republic of Congo (DR Congo), to which he asked loudly "Who the hell is Doctor Congo?"

British nicknames are an unregulated industry. a 5'6 tradesman called Anthony is professionally known as Shetland Tony. a man who lost an eye is called Keth. a quiet man wore a yellow jumper once and became Mumblebee. what's the best nickname you've ever heard

Nigel Farage has said that the handgun ban in the UK is ridiculous. The ban was introduced after the tragedy of Dunblane. His comments are a disgrace and an insult to all those who lost their lives at Dunblane. The ban must never be reversed.

Sick to death of this cunt lecturing us about hard work. When he was an MEP he was 748th out of 751 for attendance, attended 1 out 42 meetings when he was on the EU fisheries committee, has one of the lowest attendance records in Parliament, and never shows up in his constituency

New Reform candidate Matt Goodwin has claimed that being born and raised in England doesn't make you English. These Luton workers proudly disagree.

"When I congratulated him on his brave fashion statement, he replied: “I’m going swimming” and clanked off towards the Summertown pool. I called there the following day to ask how often they had visitors in armour but the young lady on the desk did not know."

A knight has been spotted in Summertown. (We have the best readers). A Clarion correspondent wrote in, saying “He was having a little difficulty with the pelican crossing when I caught up with him. Pressing the button is tricky when you’re wearing metal gauntlets."

I’ve never known anyone talk so much about ‘hate’. It may play well on social media but in the real world British people seem much more focused on decency, kindness and, yes, honest disagreement and discussion. Stop polluting political discourse.

Keir Starmer is now effectively a squatter in No 10. The country hates him. His party hates him. When will he do the right thing and resign?

This account is a prime example of the foreign influence that is being pumped into our country in order to disrupt. 'Pippa B' isn't a real person. This is a bought and paid for, troll/bot account. It has an Ai generated profile photo and a series of flags in the bio. Its page is only a series of talking points and videos of the day from the far-right. For example, the post below has had over one million views. It's utter garbage. Made up numbers designed to appeal to those who will never check facts and readily believe what they're told by these bots. Unfortunately, this is now the main source of news for those on the far-right. They lap up the racism and hatred and start becoming angry. The government need to put a stop to the mass weaponisation of social media by bad actors from outside the UK. It's creating a very dark path for some.

Here’s what would happen if the UK deported every illegal migrant: • 1 million new jobs would open up, cutting unemployment by at least 3% • 200,000 homes in London alone would become available for British citizens • £2 billion annual savings for the NHS • 15% drop in overall crime rates

Mariella Frostrup, "I just don't know when we started dehumanising people to the extent that we do now" >Huge clap< *In response to Nadine Dorries's long rant on leaving the ECHR and using the Royal Navy to address Farage's Brexit Small Boats Arrivals* "I find it really shocking" "Imagine if nobody wanted to come here then we'd really be depressed by Britain as a nation" "Of course it is an issue. But we've decreased our budget for international development" "We have a completely shambolic asylum system" "You talk about people coming here illegally, but what are the legal routes?" "We still don't have proper legal routes" Nadine Dorries, "We do" Mariella Frostrup, "Explain. I'm a woman in Congo. I'm one of the 80,000 women who has been raped as a result of the conflict going on there. I need to escape. My family has been wiped out. What's my legal way of applying to join my sister who is in the UK?" *Nadine Dorries goes silent* "It is impossible, our system is broken" "The way we talk about people trying to come here, and the way we completely ignore the dilemmas that they face. And the fact that we have been instrumental in a lot of those conflicts" "What happened to Afghanistan? When we were determined that people from Afghanistan could come here because of the way they supported us during that war" "And now we're talking about them as if they're rubbish on the street" "I think it's a shame we're allowing Reform UK to set the tone and the agenda and the way we talk about illegal immigrants" *Nadine Dorries is now biting her lips* >Another huge clap<
