@cullenoncurling Why wouldn’t every team use them then? Sounds like less of a risk unless I’m reading it wrong.

Overall, I thought it was a well-intentioned email that seeks to avoid some of the mess around the 2016 Nationals. I still see a possibility teams agree amongst themselves before specific games to use white foam, but CC stance is clear.

NEW: I just received a copy of an email that Curling Canada sent out to the participants at the Scotties, reiterating that World Curling directives about brooms will stand at the tournament and offering that there doesn't appear to be a resolution coming until after Worlds.
