Pocket Casts has been removed from the Chinese App store by Apple, at the request of the Cyberspace Administration of China. We believe podcasting is and should remain an open medium, free of government censorship. As such we won't be censoring podcast content at their request.

Previously I’ve wondered whether Apple might reduce their 30% of App Store sales. That doesn’t appear to be happening, so here’s an alternative for @pschiller: let us send some % of revenue to charity, with Apple matching from its 30% share – Apple sends the cash on our behalf.

There are so many things Apple can do to help during this worldwide crisis, and things like this make a real difference. Next stop, giving indie developers 100% of app proceeds for the next few months. What do you say, @pschiller?

When I was 24 and working at Apple I found myself in a heated debate with an engineer that I'd not met before. Since I was young and knew everything, I was lecturing this man on some nuances of how drag and drop should behave when activated on a text selection.

@tconrad There was already documentation for it

In particular I had strong feelings about when a drag of selected text ended, what circumstances should initiate a copy of the selection, & what should initiate a move of the selection. I was going on and on while not letting this, much more experienced, engineer get a word in
