Our RDS crew have been helping out our Wholetime Watch’s a lot recently. We had 4 join White Watch last night and another 3 tonight.

We are wasting valuable resources & money attending unnecessary calls regarding irresponsible disposal of BBQ's and out of control Bonfires. And this also puts the lives of our Fire Fighters at risk responding. Don't know how we can make it clearer. STOP the BBQ's and Bonfires

Arrived at the station just before 6pm yesterday for a standard drill night. Finally get home at 7:30am this morning. We had 3 minor incidents when providing cover for the area whilst some of our other local crews were assisting our colleagues in the south with the heath fire.

Following on from the Honda exercise last night we had 3 call outs during the night. They were so evenly spread out that my Fitbit shows I had no sleep whatsoever! Going to need a pair of these for work today!

Wiltshire's emergency services are simulating a real-life emergency at Honda’s testing track in Swindon. The car maker’s donated some of its vehicles and there are over a dozen volunteer actors playing casualties that are trapped on a pretend motorway @BBCWiltshire
